Vehicle Collection Procedure

When you have completed the Collection Form on this web site or called us by telephone, one of our team will contact you to confirm the collection and finalise details.

With our wide range of collection vehicles and our experienced drivers we always manage to pick up vehicles from the most difficult positions. It is not a problem if the vehicle does not run or is in a bad state of repair. Our collection area covers all of London and the South East.

  1. You will be issued with Controlled Waste Transfer Note which displays all our company details along with our ELV License number and Waste Carrier's Licence number.
  2. Our driver will complete this form with your details and the vehicle details.
  3. He will collect the vehicle keys and V5 form then load the vehicle onto our transporter and return to our ELV Centre.
  4. Once the driver arrives at our site all the paperwork for the vehicles he is transporting is handed in to the office, our office team then process this information. A computerised register is kept of every vehicle that passes through our gates, this register gives details of the make, model, colour, registration number, VIN number & date of collection.
  5. The vehicle is then depolluted and ready to be taken away to the metal recyclers.
  6. Meanwhile the office team issue a COD (Certificate of Destruction) on-line from the DVLA website, this is proof of legal disposal and can only be issued by AUTHORISED TREATMENT FACILITIES with an ELV LICENCE.
  7. We then retain the V5 registration document and the COD on behalf of the DVLA for a minimum of 4 years.
